Pieter Burger and Margaret Burger are long-standing members of The Wildlife and Environment Society of South Africa (WESSA), the Botanical Society and Birdlife SA.
Pieter is the regional representative of the KwaZulu-Natal Region of WESSA, as well as a previous member of the national board of WESSA. Margaret is the chair of the WESSA KZN Region.
Pieter’s legal background enables him to advise and support WESSA Membership on strategic environmental law matters as well as the dynamics of developing membership that is relevant now and in the future.
Margaret has a passion for developing small businesses in the green skills environmental sector. Through her own company, ECOIMVELO Environmental Services she assists with research, impact and evaluation as well as implementation of social ecological interventions.
The office at 10 Mount Argus Road is used as a mentorship hub for several of the entrepreneurs working within the biodiversity restoration and social ecological fields.
